My Major as a PARALEGAL!

My major is paralegal and i am focusing on becoming one, my classes are baiscally going to be on psycology so i can understand people and the way they think, that way it souldnt be hard for me to solve or investigate a problem that the lawyers might be having.

Inever thought of becoming a paralegal before untill i heard good news about there job benefits and work, but i dont think it would be hard because i like to investigate problems, to me its intresting because theres alot of diffrent things occuring now that i never witnessed or saw before so it would also teach me how people mind works and how to solve major issues for the lawyer i will be working with.

The most challenging class would be voice and diction i think because i dont like to talk and alot, but i dont really think that would hurt me after i get the hang of it.

I think my easiest class would be the psycology class because it would have intresting thoughts and lessons that would keep me involved and make me do all works and homeworks.

 No there is no requirements such as GPA  but i have my own requirement which is staying on top and keeping my GPA HIGH!

I highly know i can achieve my requirement by working really hard and studying.

This major can be completed in two years, but i would keep reaching to get as far as possible.

Yes, graduate work usually is usually required to work in the field associated with this major.

Multitasking is a major part and so is patience and energy.

Students obtain a paralegal job with this major

DISCOVERY STATEMENT

After one week of monitoring my  time i discovered that, i did homework with out the pressure of rushing it.

I want to spend more time in the library.

I want to spend less time on facebook and youtube.

I was suprised that i spent so much time on my math homework

I was suprise that i spent so litttle time on my sculpture project

 I had strong feelings about my use of time when i studied all night for a math test, and still failed, because everything i studied wasnt on the test. ughhh!!!

Can I Manage???

For my reminders on homework,test, the classes to attend, and confrences to go to,  usually i write reminders on my phone. sometimes i remember the dates that are important because i hate to fail, so i push my self to study for test, and remeber the times of classes.

when i study for a test it usually makes me feel stressed because i have to understand what im studying and if i do not understand i feel that i will fail. so, it puts alot of pressure on me and alot of thoughts run threw my head when im studyung.

commitment!!!!

Before class i would commit to, how many questions would be on the test?

Dring class i would commit to, read the directions carefully.

After class i would think about the way i studied for this test and how i could improve my techniques for the next exam.

Questions 9 and 11....

The logical conclusion about my studying habits and test taking skills that i can draw is that i dont spend enuff time studying for everything. I dont spend enuff time because stuyding is boring to me,so i just go over the questions i really dont understand for about 10 minutes. The changes i can make to improve my test scores in class is to study alot more and be able to be confident with my next exam.

Personal Responsibility

This activity made me more open to the deffinition Responsibility. I learned that everything i do can not be blamed on anyone else but myself. If i ask for extended time on a paper and the perfessor says NO, i can not become mad at the perfessor because he assigned a due date for the whole class, and if other opeople can get it done by that due date there is no reason why i cant get it done. I learned to be more serious about time managment because it can lead me to success, because all work can be done at the right time. and lead me to a passing grade in class, or a higher grade than usual.
